Roger Langnes Obituary

Roger Langnes, age 72, left us peacefully on August 17, 2025 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Greenbush, Michigan.

Roger Langnes was born October 5, 1952, in Oceanside, California, the son of Ingvald and Elaine Langnes. He grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where he developed his strong work ethic and dedication to his family and friends. Shortly after graduating from Bradford High School in 1970, he started his career with American Motors in Kenosha, before being transferred to Michigan. He retired from Chrysler (formerly American Motors) in December 2007.

He is survived by his former wife Roberta Langnes, his two sons, Eric (Melissa) and Ryan Langnes, step-daughter Janelle (Nick) Mily and grandsons, Evan, Dane, and Sean Langnes, Andrew Taylor and August Mily. He is also survived by his siblings Carol Zillmer, Craig (Maryann) Langnes, Donald (Denise) Langnes, and Patty Lipiec, brother-in-law Mark (Thina) Stachon, as well as many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews who will all miss him dearly.

His death is proceeded by the death of his youngest sister Thina Stachon October 17, 2016, his Mother Elaine May 30, 1991 and his Father Ingvald (Iggy) June 4, 1975.
