Roger "Shane" Lodder died unexpectedly on September 14, 2023 at the age of 47.
Shane is deeply loved and greatly missed.
So often, Shane was the rock of our family. Even though he tried not to share his struggles, he was bold in his faith. He fought the good fight. Shane confessed his belief and love of Jesus to many.
1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you make your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
Amen!
Shane was a kind, hard working, and loving son. As a child he was very independent. As a young child he enjoyed fishing, riding his bike, and bringing home any animal he thought was in need of a home.
Shane was such a hard worker. He had many jobs in his life but his niche was construction. He could build an entire house from start to finish. His skills were impeccable. From framing, concrete, plumbing, gutters and roofing.
Anyone who knew Shane could tell you how loyal and forgiving he was.
On a side note: To anyone who has ever intentionally humiliated him, you are the one with yoke on your face because I have no doubt he helped you at some point. Now, he's with Jesus. No more pain, struggles, or humiliation.
Shane is survived by his parents Carl and Rebecca Lodder, his wife of 5 days Tarren Lodder, Susan Elaine Tipton, Siblings, James Broyles (Charity), Michelle Broyles Freeland (Robert), Kimberly Dawn Danbom (Todd), and Jason Lodder (Nikki). Children, Austin Garrett, Thyri Rose, and Robert.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer.
