81, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021, peacefully at home. He was the beloved husband of Joyce A. (Cotoia) Mandarelli. Born in Providence, Roger was the son of the late Luigi and Francesca L. (Sinapi) Mandarelli. He was a retired builder.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving daughters, Lisa A. Parrillo and Lynn A. Pezza. He was the proud Papa of Gerald & Jared Parrillo, Bianca & Talia Pezza and great-grandfather of Jared, Jr. He was the dear brother of Nancy Garafano & Carol Lisi. Roger was the brother of the late Maria DelMonico, Helen Rose, Michael, Rinaldo, Alfred and Raymond Mandarelli.
Roger was a very caring and generous man, who lived a simple and grateful life. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandson. You could always find him enjoying his favorite treat, penny candy.
His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Atwood Avenue in Johnston at 11 a.m. VISITING HOURS are on Wednesday MORNING from 9-10 a.m. Burial, with Military Honors, will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Please omit flowers.
