Roger H. Pageau

Biddeford

Roger H. Pageau, 77, of Biddeford, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at St. Andre's Healthcare in Biddeford.

He was born in Biddeford on October 9, 1947, a son of Harvey and Louise (Dutremble) Pageau. He graduated from Thornton Academy, class of 1968.

He married his wife Jeannine Fecteau on February 14, 1970.

Roger served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam Era. He spent two years developing the AYA (American Youth Activities) in Germany. Receiving a commendation from the Army, he was instrumental with the programs growth as it grew from 60 to 500 children. Roger felt very fortunate and deeply appreciated this experience. He cherished the relationships he made and spoke highly of them even right up until his passing.

Roger was employed by Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for many years, retiring in 2007.

He had many interesting pastimes which included boy scout leader, camping with his boys, gardening and traveling. He also collected stamps, coins and baseball cards too. We remember him with a smile, New York Yankees hat on and a diet coke in hand. Most of all, Roger loved his family. He enjoyed the time spend together, especially with his two grandchildren Hadley and Sydney. He will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his wife Jeannine Pageau, two sons Eric Pageau and wife Jessica, Brian Pageau and wife Kerri and two granddaughters Hadley and Sydney. He is also survived by sisters in law Barbara McCormack and husband John, Patricia Fecteau, two nieces Megan and Alison and one nephew Garrett.

Services are private. Burial with Military Honors will be held in the family lot in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco.

The family wishes to thank the staff of St. Andre Health Care and Compassus for all their compassionate care and support during the family's time of need.
