Roger L. Pelot

Roger L, Pelot, age 69, passed away on January 31, 2025, at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 12:00pm at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Visitation will take place from 10:00am until the time of service. Burial will take place at a later date.
Roger was born on September 30, 1955, in Wisconsin Rapids to Sylvester and Violet (Pascavis) Pelot.
Rogers love for NASCAR ran deep. Races were a time for excitement, camaraderie, and cheering on his favorite drivers. Racing was more than a pastime for Roger, it was a passion. He enjoyed travelling to all different racetracks including The Dells, Kaukauna, La Crosse, and Golden Sands. When he wasn't at the track, you could find him on the farm, tending the land with great pride.
He also found joy in driving the Amish, forming lasting relationships and creating a sense of community.
Roger is survived by his brother, Ronald Pelot (Karla Ghiloni), many cousins, and many dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Violet; and special cousin, Rose Marie Zabawa.
The family would like to thank the Aspirus Riverview ICU staff for their excellent care and support given to Roger and his family.
