Roger William Reidenbach, 90, of Dallas, GA, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, in
Paulding County, GA.
Born in Chicago, IL, on September 12, 1934, Roger was the cherished son of Harold W.
Reidenbach and Virginia Koyonen. He grew up alongside his siblings, Kenneth Reidenbach and
Virginia (Ginny) Reidenbach, forging a family bond that provided strength and love throughout
his life.
On December 17, 1960, Roger married Joyce Naomi Herodes, beginning a devoted and
enduring partnership that spanned over 60 years.
Roger proudly served his country as a Station Radio Mechanic in the U.S. Army from 1956 to
1962. After his military service, he pursued his entrepreneurial spirit, founding a consumer
products business. His love for craftsmanship led him to Southern Polytechnical College, where
he taught woodworking for 18 years, sharing his passion and inspiring many students.
A man of varied interests, Roger enjoyed golfing, woodworking, camping and spending time
with Joyce, who was the light of his life.
Roger leaves behind his beloved wife, Joyce; his children, Dawn Anderson (Chuck) and Scott
Reidenbach (Chanda); grandsons, Justin Barnes (Stephanie), Kyle Barnes, Derrick
Reidenbach, Austin Reidenbach, and Jacob Reidenbach; and his great-grandson, James
Barnes.
Roger will be fondly remembered for his warmth, wisdom, and the love he brought to all who
knew him. His legacy of hard work, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to inspire
those he leaves behind.
He will be deeply missed but will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
