Roger Remlinger Obituary
Roger A. Remlinger, 84, of Dublin, Ohio passed away peacefully Friday, May 3, 2024. He was born in Marion, Ohio, on July 27, 1939, to the late Andrew Charles Remlinger and Ruby Kyle Remlinger. Roger graduated from Prospect High School in Prospect, Ohio and went on to further his education at The Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. Roger spent his career working as a certified public accountant and enjoyed following many sports including the Ohio State Buckeyes.
He is survived by children, Theresa (Michael) Vozenilek, Powell, Ohio and Andy (Joan) Remlinger, Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren: Courtney (Matt) Dorsey, Hilliard, Ohio; Kyle Vozenilek, Columbus, Ohio; Abigail, Benjamin, and Jacob Remlinger, Cincinnati, Ohio and great-granddaughter, Lillian Dorsey; brother, Jerry (Betty) Remlinger, Prospect, Ohio and many other family and friends.
Roger is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Barbara Bixby Remlinger.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 9, 2024, in Mound Hill Cemetery in Gallipolis, Ohio. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, is honored to serve the Remlinger Family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
