Barbara Remlinger

Barbara Bixby Remlinger, 86, of Dublin, Ohio passed away peacefully Monday, April 15, 2024. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on March 5, 1938, to the late James Russell Bixby and Helen Preston Bixby. Barbara graduated from Gallia Academy High School in Gallipolis, Ohio and went on to further her education at St. Mary's School of Nursing, Huntington, West Virginia and The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. Barbara spent most of her career working in Human Resources. She was a talented watercolorist.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Roger Remlinger of Dublin, Ohio; children, Theresa (Michael) Vozenilek, Powell, Ohio and Andy (Joan) Remlinger, Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren: Courtney (Matt) Dorsey, Hilliard, Ohio; Kyle Vozenilek, Columbus, Ohio; Abigail, Benjamin, and Jacob Remlinger, Cincinnati, Ohio; one great-grandchild, Lillian Dorsey and many additional family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 9, 2024, in Mound Hill Cemetery, Gallipolis, Ohio. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, is honored to serve the Remlinger Family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
