Roger Sarver Obituary

He was a member of Durand United Methodist Church, Durand Fire Department, Durand Village Board, Township Board, Zoning Board, and a Salvation Army Bell ringer. Roger was employed at Barber-Colman for 36 years and then Tri-Part Screw Products for 8 years.
Survivors include his wife Bonnie Sarver of Pecatonica, IL, children Kip (Paula) Houghton, Daniel (Kim) Sarver, Garry (Angela) Sarver. Karla (Jarrett) Dunbar. Nine grandchildren. Siblings Russell (Susan) Sarver, Phyllis (Kurt) Peters and Lori (Bob) Meyers, sister-in-law Viola Fritz and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John Fritz.
A funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in Durand United Methodist Church, 102 E. Main St, Durand, IL, with Pastor Brenda Byrne officiating. Burial to be in Durand Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McCorkle Funeral Home- Durand Chapel, 101 W. Main St., Durand, IL.
