Roger Searle Obituary
Roger Searle, a resident of Kendal at Ithaca, passed away on October 13, 2023. He was 87 years old.
Roger was born in Wilmington, Delaware. He was a graduate of Oberlin College and earned his PHD in Chemistry at the University of Illinois. He spent most of his career at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New York.
He met his wife Marilyn at the University of Illinois, and they were married for 55 years, until her death in 2016. Roger is survived by his daughter Kirsten and his son John Edward; his grandchildren Jennifer, Alex, and Chloë; and his sisters Barbara, Joanne, and Patricia.
He was an avid sailor, canoeist, camper, woodworker, and reader.
