Roger Dale Shook passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025.
Roger was born September 24, 1953 in Iredell County. He is a graduate of South Iredell High School. Roger loved the Lord and was strong in his Baptist faith. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing of all kinds. He spent many happy hours up in his tree stand hunting deer or out on his boat fishing. Roger had a very kind heart and he was happiest when he was helping others .
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Edgar Shook Jr., and Mary Neil Rumple Shook.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother Tommy ( Mellisa ) Shook ; sister, Vickie Waddell; uncle, Steve ( Reba Jane) Rumple; nieces and nephews, Stacey Shook Queen, Chase Waddell, Scooter Shook, Lauren Barringer and Kristen Sims; great-niece, Blakely Shook.
A graveside service will be held at 3PM, Friday, March 21, 2025 at New Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Roger Crider officiating.
