Roger Swain Obituary
Roger Dale Swain II, 46, Marion, passed away at 10:23 pm on Saturday, November 29, 2025. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Thursday, November 1, 1979, to Roger and Lois (Martin) Swain.
He worked for several years at Dana Corporation in Marion and had recently worked as a mechanic. Roger loved RC Racing and enjoyed participating in car shows. He loved working on vehicles and making them shine. He played pool with friends every weekend; he loved spending time with friends, family and his grandkids.
Survivors include his mother, Lois Swain of Marion; son, Brady Swain; daughter, Gracey Snyder; partner, Jo-Ellen White and her children who he considered his own, Morgan Blevins, Sarrah (Brandon) McCormmick; 8 grandchildren; uncles, Sam (Tina) Swain, Bill (Madalyn) Swain; aunts, Kathy Swain, Becky Harris, Janice Martin,; good friend, Doug Wood; along with many friends, cousins, and his beloved dogs, Ruby and Reece.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Swain; uncles, Clarence "Junior" Swain, Fred Martin; and aunt, Gloria Haggert.
The family will receive visitors from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for funeral expenses.
