Roland O. (Rollie) Bertolini
Rollie Bertolini passed away Thursday, March 6th after a brief illness. He was 91 years old.
Rollie was born September 13, 1933, in Akron, Ohio, son of Joseph and Louise (Bertin) Bertolini. He was a 1952 graduate of Buchtel High School and received an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Akron University. A natural entrepreneur, Rollie excelled as a general contractor, retiring from the J F Bertolini Company and Ti-Bert Systems in the Akron area. He was a member of St. Hilary Church.
Rollie was generous and always involved in the lives of the people he cared about--he will be especially remembered as a father-figure to his nephew Joe. As a quiet force behind the family reunion, his efforts to keep us connected and engaged are a tangible legacy to his values. He will be similarly missed by his Panera coffee friends.
Rollie was predeceased by parents, brother Raymond and niece Carol Ann Bertolini. He is survived by wife Sara, nephew Joseph Bertolini, great-nieces Alexandria and Isabella Bertolini and Catiedia Bertolini, and great-nephews William and Nicholas Bertolini
Calling hours will be at 10 AM on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at St. Hilary Church, 2750 W. Market St. Fairlawn, Ohio, with services to follow at 11. Interment Moore's Chapel Cemetery.
To honor Rollie, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at https://www.stjude.org/

My memory of Rollie was one of a generous, kind and thoughtful cousin. When visiting my Aunt Louise And Uncle Joe, Rollie and Ray were always nice to me, even though I was just a child. They both made sure I had a good time. I remember a trip to a stable for a horseback ride. Horse didn´t want to go back to the barn. The boys did a little persuading! Ha. Rest in peace. There´s a place in heaven for you, for sure! Cousin Sylvia

Hi Joe, I met you at Rollie's service. I sent a contribution to Alzheimers in memory of Roland. I thought your address was on Ridgewood Rd, but my donation card came back to me. I was Sara's bridge teacher and friend and joined them several times at D'Agneses..and of course Fairlawn CC.
JUst wanted you to know that I contributed....my email is
