In Loving Memory of Roland Ambrosio Dionisio
June 13, 2025 – Age 59
It is with heavy hearts that we say "Until we are together again" to Roland Ambrosio Dionisio, a devoted husband, father, Lolo, son, and brother. Roland passed away at the age of 59, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him.
Roland was the cherished husband of the late Jennifer Lawson-Dionisio, and the proud father of Mallory (Austin) Jacobs, Gabe (Shelby), and Mia (Jacob). He was also the adored grandfather (Lolo) of his beloved grandson, Crew. Roland's love for his family was limitless; his dedication to his children and grandson was unwavering, and he always let them know how blessed he felt to be their father, Daddy, Dada. He never missed an opportunity to let them know how truly cherished and loved they are.
As a son, Roland was the loving child of Roger and the late Alicia Dionisio. His bond with his family was deep, and his heart was always open to those he cared about. Roland was the Kuya of the brothers and will be dearly missed, Arvin (Kimberley), Roger A. Jr. (Dana), and Robert (Ellen), and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews that he & Jen helped raise, all of whom will carry their love and memory with them forever.
Roland's spirit was one of adventure, generosity, and kindness. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome, whether through his infectious laugh, his ability to break into dance at the first note of any song, or his willingness to lend a hand when it was needed. He truly had a heart of gold, and his presence brightened the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Roland's legacy lives on in each of us-in the way we love, in the way we laugh, and in the way we support each other. His spirit will continue to surround us in every moment we share, until we meet again, watching the sunsets and feeling the oceans crash from a higher view in heaven.
Please join us in celebrating Roland's life and the memories he created with us. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, beginning at 3:00 PM, with a Sharing of Memories Service at 7:00 PM at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Marrow Donor Program, a cause close to Roland's heart.
Please share your memories with the family at their online guestbook at WujekCalcaterra.com.

Dearest Mallory, Gabe and Mia, My heart is in so much sorrow, my soul crys . I didn't know your Dad but I know of his Jennifer and his devotion to her and I love Roland for this. It is with tender mercy I pray Jesus send the Holy Spirit, the comforter to you over what we can ask or think and help heal this loss of your Dad and Momma too. I ask in the name of Jesus and I thank you Father God that you have now dispatched your Holy Angels to oversee their every need and wipe every tear and carry all their sorrow. Please and Thankyou God. Love and Amen
