Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral HomeBorn in Mobile, Alabama, on October 3, 1960, Ronald "Ronnie" David Allen passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025.
Ronnie, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, lived life with a big heart, a quick smile, and a spirit that touched everyone who knew him. He could build or fix just about anything with his hands, was happiest cheering on Alabama football, and no one could work a grill like him. He made ordinary days special, whether it was game day, a cookout, or just sitting around with family and friends. He will be remembered most for the love he gave so freely and the laughter he brought into every room.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Ann Pace Allen. He is survived by his loving wife, Kim Spinks Allen; daughters Amanda Allen (Tomas) and Courtney Carlson (Chris); cherished granddaughters Amelia and Evelyn Carlson; stepchildren Frank Smeraglia (Noel) and Krystal McCarty (Todd); and step-grandchildren Huck, Abigail, Paisley Smeraglia, Ava-Marie, and Charlotte McCarty. He also leaves behind his father and stepmother, Jerry and Lou Allen; brother Jerry Allen Jr. (Ruthanne); sister Lori Stanley (Jeffery); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory with them always.
The funeral service for Ronnie will be held at 10 A.M. on August 27th, 2025, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the services on August 27th, 2025, from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M., at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
Though Ronnie's time here was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
