Ronald Cataldo, 81, of Brewster, NY, passed away on June 28, 2025, with his family lovingly by his side. Born on June 3, 1944, in the Bronx, New York. Ronald was the cherished son of Mary Malandro Cataldo and Augustine Cataldo. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and son, whose presence left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
After graduating from high school, Ron began working in construction at the age of 18 — a career he remained dedicated to until his retirement. A hardworking man with a strong spirit, Ron also had a softer side that came through in his love of gardening and his loyal devotion to the New York Yankees.
Ron made his home in Brewster, New York, where he lived with his loving wife, Nancy Jean Cataldo, and their beloved dog, Codi. He is survived by Nancy, his daughter Janine Cataldo Santangelo, his son Ronald Cataldo Jr., his granddaughter Paige Elizabeth Cataldo, and his son-in-law Biagio Santangelo.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Queen of Peace Chapel. Family and friends are kindly asked to arrive by 10:50 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
