Ronald Joe Combs, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on February 28, 2025. Born on January 30, 1957, he was the beloved son of the late Glen and Audrey Combs.
Ronald is survived by his loving partner, Tamara Hart-Goodman, his cherished children, Melissa Combs and Jeremy Combs, and his dear brothers, Russell Combs and John Combs. He was a proud grandfather to Madison Brown, Claire Combs, Cammie Combs, Jeremiah Combs, Audrey Combs, and Evelyn Ford, who brought immense joy to his life. He is now reunited in heaven with his brother, James Combs.
A man with a larger-than-life personality, Ronald embraced life with confidence and humor. He often joked that he "got better looking every day," and those who knew him would agree he carried himself with charm and a strong sense of self. He found joy in the simple pleasures—hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors—and had a knack for discovering hidden treasures at yard sales. He loved animals and had a special talent for catching them, always in awe of the beauty of nature.
Above all, Ronald adored his family and treasured the time he spent with them, especially with his beloved bulldog babies. His unwavering love and bold spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Ronald was a faithful member of LaGrange Baptist Church, where he found strength in his faith and shared his love for the Lord.
Visitation will be held at Louisville Memorial Gardens East on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
