Dad, it was hard seeing you the past year go from doing what you loved, working every day, helping others, working 40 hours a week to over night not being able to walk, or do any of the things you loved. You bravely battled for nearly a year, and you never gave up.
I could not have had a better father-in-law than you. You were a great example of what a father should be. You sacrificed for your family, you worked hard every day to provide and never gave up or complained. You always worked hard to do the right thing and you always looked for ways to share your faith with your friends and neighbors.
Thanks for all the times you helped Jacie and me out. Thanks for the rounds of golf. Most of all thank you for giving me your daughter. After God/Jesus/eternal life, she is the best gift I´ve ever been given.
It´s sad to see you go, and you will be greatly missed, but I am glad that your suffering is over. God´s goodness and peace be with you. See you later.
