Ronald O. Egger, Jr., 76, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025. He was born on April 6, 1949, to Ronald Otis Egger and Hazel Beatrice Cline Egger in Sonora, California. He was a dozer operator by profession and loved to go hunting and fishing. Ronald also attended Cherry Hill Gospel and loved to sing for his Lord and Savior. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be dearly missed. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Hazel Egger and his brother-in-law, Marlon Ronten. He is survived by his wife Sandy Egger; sons, Shane Egger and wife Tammy of Oklahoma, Jason Egger and wife Tarra of Kansas, Joe Egger and wife Tammy of South Dakota; daughters, Laura Fearn of California; step-daughters, Brenna Laxton and husband James of Arkansas, Staci May of Arkansas, and Lara Lamb and husband Ben of Arkansas; grandchildren, Dakota, Terrance, Jacey, Cameron, Braeden, Dayton, Jacob, Cody, Jessie, Maycie, and Wyatt; brothers, Arvin Egger and wife Sue Egger; sisters, Virginia Ronten of California, Ann Carter and husband Jr of Arkansas, Ronell Oglesby and husband Larry of Arkansas; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention. Pallbearers are Scott Egger, Chris Oglesby, Rusty Oglesby, Brad Fountain, Brent Fountain, and Dustin Egger. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, April 12th, 2025 at Highland Cemetery, Cherry Hill, Arkansas. Jim Sexton and Dana Kinsey will be officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beasley Wood Funeral Home.
