Ronald Lee "Hoss" Green, Jr, age 61, of New London, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at University Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born on November 28, 1963, in Ashland, Ohio, to the late Ronald Green, Sr. and Bonnie (Shannon) Green. Ron was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose life was defined by hard work and integrity. Ron graduated from New London High School in 1982. He enlisted in the U.S. Marines serving his country with honor for four years followed by a 30+year career in the Carpenter's Union.

When not working, Ron enjoyed numerous passions including repairing small engines, grilling for friends and family, and studying his family genealogy. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons working in the garage and helping others. Some may have said he was rough around the edges, but he was always willing to help anyone in need.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife Jennifer (Miller) Green; their daughter Ashley (Jeremy) Bell, grandsons Aiden Green and Gaige Green, step-granddaughters Audri Bell and Rylee Bell, mother Bonnie Green of Greenwich, OH, sister Gina (Lonnie) Kaman of Sandusky, OH, brother Christopher (Julie) Green of Dallas, TX, and brother Eric (Tiffany) Green of Greenwich, OH.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Green, Sr., maternal grandparents Merrit Jay and Lucy Shannon, and paternal grandparents Rebel Lee and Elsie Green.

In keeping with the wishes of Ron, there will be no funeral service. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
