LUNENBURG: Ronald A. Guertin, 84, of Gardner died peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at home, with his loving wife of 63 years by his side.
Loving husband, father, and Pepe, Ron was born in Fitchburg, July 21, 1941, to the late Armand and Lena (Belliveau) Guertin and graduated in 1960 from Fitchburg High School where he studied electrical. He married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Goguen, on December 1, 1962 in Fitchburg, MA and they resided on John St. in Lunenburg for over 50 years. He leaves his wife, Patricia A. (Goguen) Guertin; his son, Gary Guertin and his companion, Sharon DeMars; his daughter, Lori Guertin – Gaylord and her husband, Ted of Gardner; five grandchildren: Amy Edson (husband Jared), Kaylee Kaiser (husband Evan), with whom he resided in Gardner, Kelsey Mansfield (husband Eric), Kerry Struck (husband Zachary), Tucker Guertin (wife Rebecca); ten great grandchildren: Teagan, Alayna and Harlow Edson, Charlie and Eleni Kaiser, Lydia, Abram, and Eden Mansfield, and Callum and Shaun Struck. Ron also had a special love for his sisters-in-law Elaine Leger (late husband Bobby), Donna Babineau (husband David), and Denise Goguen DeMartino, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was the brother of the late Yvette St. Jean of Lunenburg and the grandfather of the late Rita M. Guertin who passed away in 2020.
The family would like to thank UMass Memorial Home Health & Hospice, VA - Nashoba Health and Samantha's Group Trinity Compassionate Care.
