Ronald Ray House Sr., age 80, of St. Peter's, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2025, at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri. Ron was born on August 9, 1944, to Raymond and Louise nee LaBarge House and grew up in the north end of St. Charles, Missouri.
A proud United States Navy Veteran, Ron served four years aboard the USS Kearsarge. His deep sense of patriotism and love for his country stayed with him throughout his life. A longtime member of the St. Charles, Missouri VFW Post 2866, Ron found camaraderie and purpose among fellow veterans.
Ron founded and successfully ran "House Brothers Flooring Co." for over 60 years alongside his three sons, Ron Jr., Scott, and Josh. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, and especially enjoyed time spent with his loved ones at his second home at Lake of the Ozarks. He loved spending time with his family and friends, soaking in the sun, fishing, and having fun at the local Tan Co.
To know him was to love him. Ron never met a stranger, greeting everyone with a big smile, a quick joke, or one of his famous goofy stories. He had the rare gift of making others feel instantly at ease. Beneath his playful nature, Ron had a heart of gold.
Ron is survived by his fiancé – Joanne Pusczek, Sons – Ronald R. (Kim) House, Jr., Jeff Deuser, Scott (Shannon) House, Rob (Cherie) Garrett, Joshua House, Sister – Marsha Gail (the Late Larry) Crump, Stepson – Richard Graczyk, Grandchildren – Dawn, Raymond, Gracie (Justin), Kaitlin, Zachary, Blake, Ashley, and Vince, and several amazing Great Grand Kids, Nephews, and Cousins, Former Spouses and Friends - Jeannie House and Tina House.
Ron was proceeded in death by his Parents – Raymond and Louise House, Grandparents – Lillian Wilson, Roy and Lola House, and his beloved chocolate lab – Buster, who was truly the epitome of a man's best friend.
RoHo's famous motto:
"180lbs of rompin' stompin' romance, twisted steel, and sex appeal."
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause that was close to Ron's heart, and the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Missouri Chapter.
