In Loving Memory of

Ronnie Jorgenson

Ronald (Ronnie) Jorgenson was born on May 13, 1992, in Marshall, Minnesota to Annette (Hines) Miller and Randy Jorgenson. He graduated from Tracy High School in 2010 and attended Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota where he graduated with an Elementary Education/Special Education degree in 2015. Following graduation, he taught school in Pierre, South Dakota; York, South Carolina; Lamar, South Carolina; and lastly Camp Verde, Arizona.

Ronnie was recruited to the Dakota State football team and played a defensive nose tackle position. During many games, he was double-teamed by opposing players due to his strength and size. He also held several records among his DSU teammates in the weight room and became lifelong friends with many of them.

Ronnie had a passion for coaching football throughout his teaching career. He was loved by many students and parents. He encouraged and motivated his players to do their best and he celebrated every success they had. He was very proud of all of his players and he was thrilled when some were recruited to play college football.

After moving to Arizona, Ronnie met the love of his life, Megan, and he cherished becoming a father figure to her children (Chloe, 17, Capri, 12, and Calyn, 10). As a family, they enjoyed playing cards, games, and volleyball, camping, and working out together. He loved cooking and eating, golfing, watching sports, and playing video games.

Ronnie died Friday, May 23, 2025 at the age of 33. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Ryan, cousin, Julie, grandfathers, Ronald and Wesley, and his grandmother, Vivian.

Ronnie is remembered by his mother Annette (Jay) of Balaton, Minnesota, father Randy (Julie) of Milton, Florida, brother Rick, uncles Ron (Christina) and Rob (Geri), aunts Malberta, Theresa, Mary (Bill), and Trudy (Dan), grandmother Bertha Hines, numerous cousins, and many friends.

Blessed be his memory.
