Ronald Ray Keller, 88, of Massillon, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2023 with loved ones by his side. Ronald was born on August 10, 1934 in Canton, Ohio. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School. His love of cars led him to a 47+ year career in the body shop industry before retiring from George Waikem Ford. He also served in the US Army as well as the National Guard. Ronald loved to entertain his family and friends with his storytelling and jokes. He could always fill a room with laughter. He was an avid trap shooter and loved taking hunting trips to Montana. He had a passion for building model airplanes and watching western movies.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Ruth (Zimmer) Keller, son Phillip, and son-in-law L. Scott Collins. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Glenda, three children, Sharon (Melvin) Carl, Brian (Deborah) Keller, and Rhonda Collins, along with grandchildren L. Scott Collins, Jr., Ryan Cucerzen, Melissa Ackerman, Chris Keller, Lindsey Shilling, and Molly Miller, and numerous great-grandchildren. A private celebration of life will be held for the family at a later time at convenience of the family. Burial with military honors June 9, 2023 11:00 AM at Northlawn Cemetery 4927 Cleveland Ave NW Canton, OH 44709.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the following: Aultman Hospice and Compassionate Care Center; Ronald McDonald House; Wishes Can Happen; Kid Again of NE Ohio; and the SCTP Scholastic Clay Target Program.
