Ronald Lee Lundy "Lundy", 68, of Aztec, NM, passed away at his home on September 28, 2024 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Lundy was born on August 15, 1956 in Phoenix, AZ to Bill Lundy and Shirley Anderson. He originally moved to Aztec when he was 16 years old on the very same day he got his drivers license.
He was happily retired, living on his property in Aztec with his loyal dog, Duke. He enjoyed working outdoors around his property. He had a life-long love for both horses and motorcycles. He was always there to lend a helping hand, was easy to love and brought life to any party. If you knew him well, you knew that the general rules to life, somehow did not apply to him and he loved to live outside the lines.
After the recent passing of his wife, Dorothy, last September, he struggled to fill the void she had filled in his heart. However, he did his best to continue to fight his own battle with cancer. During the past year of his life, he connected with loved ones and recommitted his life to the Lord.
Lundy is preceded in death by his parents, Bill Lundy and Shirley Lundy (Anderson), his sister Melody Wortman and his loving wife, Dorothy. He is survived by his sister Leslie Lundy, his daughter Mandy Lundy and her husband Cameron Garrett and their children, Kyla Lundy and Charley, Cage and Cash Garrett.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Ronald, please visit our Tree Store.
