Ronald A. Magoc, 66, of Natrona Heights, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 at his home. He was born May 4, 1958 in Harrison Township to the late Stephen J. and Frances J. (Uhric) Magoc. Ronald lived most of his life in Natrona Heights however he was raised in West Tarentum. He was a senior paralegal at the law firm K & L Gates, Pittsburgh for 37 years. Ronald was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Campus in Natrona Heights. He graduated from Highlands High School in 1976 and went on to graduate from Edinboro State Teacher’s College in 1980 and attended additional college at Robert Morris University. Ronald was an avid Pirates fan and enjoyed fantasy baseball, playing hockey and pickle ball, loved working in his yard, and traveling to western natural parks.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 37 years Karen A (McGowan) Magoc of Natrona Heights; daughter Natalie A. (Luke) Mitchell of Murrysville; grandsons Forrest and Felix Mitchell of Murrysville; brothers Daniel S. Magoc and companion Tish Kus of Sarver, James C. (SueAnn) Magoc of Brackenridge, Gerard P. (Sandra) Magoc of Frazer Township, and Christopher J. (Mary Ellen) Magoc of Erie. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his infant daughter Mary Magoc.
Visitation will be Thursday 2-8 PM in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. A Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Friday July 19 at 10 AM at Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights. Private burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
