Ronald Lee Morgan
December 26, 1947 – November 7, 2025
Ronald Lee Morgan, 77, of Niles, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2025, at his daughter’s home, surrounded by his loving family, after courageously battling health challenges for the past 15 months.
Born on December 26, 1947, in Warren, Ohio, Ronnie was the son of Ralph Morgan and Evelyn Miklasiewicz. He was a proud 1966 graduate of Howland High School, a member of the Niles VFW, and of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church.
From 1965 to 1969, Ronald honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he worked for P&LE Railroad and later retired from KraftMaid.
Ronald was a man who cherished life’s simple joys. He loved golfing, bowling, and fishing, and had a special knack for bar Keno. Whether he was watching The Price Is Right, Cash Explosion or rooting on his beloved Cleveland Browns and Indians, he never missed a moment to enjoy the things he loved most.
He is survived by his daughters, Christine (Mark) Long; Rhonda (Ruben) Iamurri and Michelle (Jim Serenko) Morgan; his sister, Sally McNerney; his brothers, Roger (Gloria) Miklasiewicz and Paul Miklasiewicz; seven grandchildren—Malina, Christopher, Hailie, Aaliyah, Michael, Rayden, and Mia—and two great-grandchildren, Valerie and Natalie.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Evelyn; the love of his life, Marcia Morgan (Satterlee), who passed away in 2017; and his grandson, Roman.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, Ohio. Funeral services will be held there on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
Ronald will be laid to rest at Niles City Cemetery with full military honors.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, any monetary contributions should be made to Ronald's family, via Blackstone Funeral Home, Girard, Ohio to be put towards his final expenses.
