Ronald Newton Jr. Obituary
Ronald W. Newton, Jr., 59, affectionately known as “Reggie”, passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2024. He was born and raised in Clemson, South Carolina.
Reggie’s proudest accomplishment was his Family. He is survived by his son, Jake Newton, of Jacksonville, FL; his daughter, Casie Newton, of Liberty, SC; his parents, Ron and Martha Newton, of Clemson; his brother, Bradley Newton, of Columbia, SC; and his niece, Gabrielle Lochbaum, of Houston, Texas.
He was a 1986 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management. As a proud alumnus, his dedication to all things Clemson-related was unwavering throughout his life.
Reggie enjoyed a career in textiles, serving as VP of Marketing with Shaw Industries, Inc., and as Regional VP of Southeast Sale with Mohawk Industries, Inc.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
