Ronald “Ronnie” L. Richardson, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away at his home on February 17, 2023. Ronnie was born on March 31, 1952, to the late Guy & Dorothy Richardson in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ronnie was a graduate of Southport High School, Class of 1970 and attended Indiana University. Ronnie worked for Allison Transmission for many years. He loved to deer hunt and fish in Brazil, Indiana. He enjoyed traveling and was the happiest when he was around the beach in Florida. Ronnie loved woodworking and making furniture. He loved spending time four-wheeling on their 77-acre farm in Terre Haute, Indiana. Ronnie loved to cook and had his family specialties, such as, Crab Beignets and Lobster Bisque. He also enjoyed reading.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 14 years; Thresia Richardson, children; Nicole (Joey) Kays, Charles (Yvonne) Richardson and Rita (Jimmy) Johnson, Grandchildren; Bobbie (Wes) Nichols, Tyler Jones, Christian Shirley, Caleb Johnson and Libby Johnson, along with 9 Great-Grandchildren, sisters; Pamela (Jim) Schoettle and Connie Richardson, and his Fur Baby; “Jill”.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his sister; Lois Richardson.
A Celebration of Ronnie’s Life will take place at a later date.
