Ronald "Ron" Rease Bashore, born on June 29, 1957, in Wabash, Indiana, to Ted L. and D. Joann (Cook) Bashore, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, at his home in Warsaw, Indiana, surrounded by his loving family.
A proud graduate of Manchester High School, class of 1976, Ron devoted an impressive forty-six years of his life to the field of medical technology as a Lab Technician at Zimmer Biomet in Warsaw. His dedication to his work was matched only by his loyalty to his family and friends.
On May 14, 2005, Ron married his beloved wife, Susan May Estep. Their union was a time of shared adventures, laughter, and a deep bond that resonated through their lives together. Ron had a unique personality characterized by his candidness and humor; often described as a jokester and a "big teddy bear," he had a generous spirit and a willingness to help anyone in need.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Ron was an ardent fan of the Kentucky Wildcats Basketball and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also found joy in watching old westerns. His love for old cars was infectious, and he cherished traveling to shows where he could admire these classic vehicles. Ron's passions further extended to bowling, social gatherings, and the annual Blueberry Festival. He took great pride in his yard, often spending time mowing and caring for it, and relished the moments spent by his grill, preparing delicious meals for loved ones.
The loving memory of Ron Bashore will be forever cherished by his wife, Susan Bashore, Warsaw; mother, D. Joann Bashore, North Manchester; daughter, Brandy Bashore Phillips, North Manchester; step-children, Kylee (Keith) Arnold, Pierceton, and Joey (Candy) Smith, Mentone; sister, Pam Johnson, North Manchester; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Ted Bashore; brother, Randy Bashore; and sister Sandra K. Rogers.
