Ron passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Bay County Medical Care Facility at the age of 92. He was born to the late James and Bernice (Oliver) Sutton on March 8, 1933 in Corunna, Michigan. He was a proud United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He worked at GM Powertrain for 25 years.
Ron is survived by his wife of 11 years, Janet (Bollman) Sutton; children, Wendy Priest (Pat), Randy (Brenda) Sutton and Barb Huckins; grandchildren, Sonya (Katie) Priest, Melissa Priest, Eric Morin, Chad (Megan) Skotynsky, Tasha (Earl) Howard, Kati Huckins and Kari (Brandon) Huckins; great grandchildren, Derek (Bailey) Lupo, Brittany (Zack) Ellison, Blake Howard, Katie Brinn, Emily Skotynsky, McKenze Skotynsky, Max Skotynsky, Aria Ayotte and great-great grandson, Hayse Ellison.
A memorial service will take place on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Church of The Nazarene. Officiating will be Pastor Dwight Kingsbury. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wishes of the Family.
