Ronald L. Wagner, age 86, of Williams, IN, passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 10, 2025. Born March 25, 1939, he was the son of Morris Wagner and Vera (Freeman) Wagner.

Ronald married La Donna Sue Rainey, and she preceded him in death in 1978. He was a graduate of Williams High School in 1957 and attended the Indiana College of Mortuary Science, graduating with the class of 1959. He spent 55 years in the funeral service as a funeral director and as an owner of Day & Carter Mortuary until he retired.

Surviving to cherish the memory of Ron is his son, Brian Lee (Annette) Wagner; two daughters, Lisa R. Wagner and Leslie Jo Louden; five brothers, Bob Wagner, Bill Wagner, Larry Wagner, Mike Wagner and Rick Wagner; three sisters, Judy Rorie, Susan Britt and Jill Phillips; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Preceding Ron in death are his parents, Morris Wagner and Vera (Freeman) Wagner; his wife, La Donna Sue Rainey; one son, Bill Wagner; two brothers, James Wagner and Russell Wagner; and three sisters, Donna Baskette, Patty Bowers and Sharon Meyer.

A Celebration of Life Service for Ron Wagner will be held on Friday, August 15th, 2025, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes, 818 18th St, Bedford, IN, 47421.
