Ronald C Wright Jr. ObituaryBorn in Perth Amboy, NJ, Ron was a 1982 graduate of East Brunswick Vocational School. He spent much of his career as a Maintenance Supervisor, first with DuPont and later with Hershey, where his strong work ethic and dedication were widely respected.
Ron is survived by his beloved life partner, Teresa Mattaliano; his cherished son, Ronnie, of Sayreville, NJ; and his loving parents, Ronald and Barbara Wright, also of Sayreville. He is also survived by his sister Cindy and her husband Larry Lenahan, and their children: Larry and his wife Stefani, and their daughter Francesca; Branden and his wife Tori; and Teddy Lenahan.
Ron had a deep love for the outdoors and took great pride in his yard-his flowerbeds and garden were nothing short of spectacular. He was a proud American and a steadfast supporter of the NRA. A lifelong fisherman and an avid traveler, Ron found joy in the open road, most recently during a memorable trip to Mount Rushmore-a journey that gave him strength and purpose this past year.
A die-hard New York Mets fan, Ron followed the team faithfully through every season and was holding out hope for a pennant win this year-a wish he carried with him to the end.
Ron will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love of nature, and his deep devotion to his family and country. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, warmth, and pride.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ronald's name may be made to Four Diamonds, to help children with cancer through Hershey Medical Center at www.fourdiamonds.org.
