Ronnie Blair, 76, of Wharton passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, in a Houston hospital. Born on August 29, 1949, in Wharton, Texas, to the late Billy Blair and Katherine Koehler Blair.
He was a proud Navy veteran. After his service, he embraced a fulfilling career as a truck driver, traversing the highways and byways, which allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life.Ronnie was a true lover of all things automotive. He found sheer joy in working on cars, particularly American muscle cars, and never missed an opportunity to attend car shows. Ronnie also found pleasure in watching cop shows, diving into their intrigue and mystery, and challenged his mind daily with crossword puzzles—a testament to his sharp wit and love for a good challenge.Ronnie is survived by his loving sisters, Sharon Gingles and her husband, David of El Campo and Virgie Miller and her husband, Gary of Needville; brother, Gary Blair and wife, Leigh Ann of Hungerford, along with several nieces and nephews and close friends. His family will forever cherish the laughter, stories, and moments shared together.
Following Cremation, a Memorial service will be held later. Inurnment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
