Ronnie was born on August 30, 1958, in Perry, Florida, to Burl and Alice Ellison Poppell. He loved to fish, hunt, and go riding around in the woods. Ronnie would always look forward to going to Connecticut to see his grandkids. He enjoyed watching College football and the Weather Channel with his beloved dog Skippy.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his loving wives.
He is survived by his 2 Sons Stephen Poppell of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and Esau Pickron (Emma) of Wilcox, Arizona; 2 Daughters Krystle Bratton (David) of Gales Ferry, Connecticut, and Carmen Dorman (Benji) of Perry, Florida; his Sister Brenda Poppell Hyman (Robert) of Perry, Florida; his 5 Grandchildren Seth, Ava, Hannah, Gage, and Conner with 1 more on the way.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 2:00pm at Woodlawn Cemetery, 900-998 N Center St, Perry, Florida 32347. Visitation will be from 12:00pm - 1:30pm at Beggs Funeral Home - Perry Chapel, 201 W Main St. Perry, Florida 32347.
