Mr. Ronnie "Pops" Walker, age 91, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born on December 25, 1934, in Houston, Texas, to Robert Ray and Gertude Mae (O'Neal) Walker.

Ronnie was an electrician by profession, and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved bowling and watching sports, especially his Dallas Cowboys, the Razorbacks, and the Astros. Ronnie also enjoyed watching NASCAR and once his sons introduced him to dirt track racing he loved to watch them compete. Ronnie shared over 75 years of friendship with his best buddy and brother-in-law, Eli Norman Hudson. He was a loving Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, and Uncle.

Mr. Ronald Ray Walker is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patsy E. Walker; father, Robert Ray Walker; mother, Gertude Mae O'Neal; son, Kevin Ray Walker; and by his daughter, Dianne Denise Hunter. He is survived by his sons, Mark Steven Walker and wife Faith of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; son-in-law, Greg Hunter of Mena, Arkansas; daughters, Karen Rene Walker of Hot Springs, Arkansas; Rhonda Copelin and husband Bobby of Mena, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Christine Walker of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Hailey, David, Daniel, Derek, Tyler, Aubrey, Zack, Hana, William; twelve great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Sharon Gay Walker of Houston, Texas; as well as by a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends too numerous to mention.

Services for Mr. Ronnie "Pops" Walker are scheduled for 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 19, 2026, at the Beasley-Wood Chapel in Mena, Arkansas. Brother Donnie Jewell will be officiating the services under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Nunley Cemetery in Nunley, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Derek Walker, Tyler Walker, Zack Hunter, William Copelin, Greg Hunter, and Bobby Copelin.
