Rosalee Bickley, 93, of Howe, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.

She was born on April 4, 1932, in Trinity Springs, Indiana, to Vernon and Viola (Sipes) Johnson. In 1954, Rosalee made LaGrange County her home, where she spent the remainder of her life surrounded by family, friends, and the community she cherished.

Rosalee worked for many years as a cook at Lima-Brighton Elementary School in Howe, where her warmth and kindness touched the lives of countless children and staff.

In 1949, she married Ermil Gene Cundiff. They shared many wonderful years together before his passing in 1987. In 1991, she found love again and married Ralph Bickley at the Woodruff United Methodist Church in Wolcottville. He preceded her in death in 2003.

Rosalee is survived by her children, Connie Woods and Pam (John) Wainwright, both of Wolcottville; her son, Tim Cundiff of Howe; and her daughter-in-law, Cindy "Sam" Cundiff of LaGrange. She was a devoted grandmother to nine grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Janet Lampkin and Linda Johnson, both of Fort Wayne, and Dean Johnson of LaGrange.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Ann Hovarter (2016); her son, Ronald G. Cundiff (2024); and her daughter-in-law, Catherine E. Cundiff (2020).

A funeral service honoring Rosalee's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 West Michigan Street, LaGrange, Indiana. Pastor James Fearnow will officiate. Family and friends are invited to visit from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Rosalee will be laid to rest beside her first husband, Gene, at Trinity Springs Cemetery in Trinity Springs, Indiana at 1 p.m. on Tuesday July 1st.
