Rose Pullano, 97, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, in the care of Reading Hospital. She was the loving wife of 48 years of Salvatore "Sam" Pullano.
Born in Egg Harbor, NJ, to the late Philip and Lily (Constantino) Ferraro, Rose graduated from Wilson High School. She retired as the Department Manager for Lady's Wear for John Wanamaker, which was later sold to Boscov's.
Sam and Rose attended Mass at St. Ignatius of Loyola Roman Catholic Church.
Rose enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She loved visits with her family, and she especially treasured time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Left to treasure Rose's memory is her husband, Sam; her children, Vernon L. Brossman Jr., companion of Evelyn Varish, of Wernersville, and Rosemary Price, wife of Michael Price, of Myerstown; step-son, Carl Pullano, husband of Darshana, of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Anthony, Jason Sr., Tracy, Denyle, Jacob, and Christopher; 10 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Rose is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their families.
In addition to her parents, Rose was predeceased by her grandson, Christopher Brossman; her great grandson, Jason Jr.; and by her siblings, Angela DeAngelo, Frances Palm, Mary Heffner, Patrick Ferraro, Philip Ferraro, Amelia Krouse, and Sam Ferraro.
A Prayer Service for Rose will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
