Rose Marie Schubert

(nee Nagel)

Rose, age 92, passed away peacefully on October 4th, 2025. She is survived by her children, Steven Giacoletto, Capri Kaluzny (Dennis) and her grandchilren, Melanie Giacoletto, Steven Kaluzny (Kristina) and Teal Restum (David) as well as great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son John Sabo, Chris Giacoletto and Cory Giacoletto.

Rose spent most of her life in the Milwaukee area. However, she moved to Coloma in 2007. This was a positive move for her. It allowed Rose to be with the things that were most dear to her. Animals. Dogs, a fox, a racoon, squirrels, fish, turtles, frogs, deer and birds held a special place in Rose's heart. She even found time for 3 alligators. She loved observing, feeding, or sharing stories about animals. It was clear that they were the passion of her life.

Rose was also a talented artist. She painted realistic statues of animals. She was a talented crocheter and she was honored with blue ribbons from the Wisconsin State Fair.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at ST. ADALBERT CEMETERY CHAPEL, 3801 S. 6th St. Milwaukee from 12:00 PM until time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Entombment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
