Roseann Mary Scarangella

Roseann Mary Scarangella of Mahopac, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the age of 81. She was born in Bronx, NY, the daughter of Vincent James and Josephine (Ciardullo) Pisciotto.
Roseann was a retired office manager at New Rochelle Restaurant Supply in New Rochelle. She enjoyed reading and spending time with all of her family on a rotating basis. She learned to love football after her first two sons played and became an avid Dallas Cowboys fan following Dom. Roseann was hyper organized and wouldn't think twice about packing something up, even if you were still using it, but it was the same organizational skills that allowed her to be a successful human being.
On March 17, 1962 she married Michael Scarangella in the Bronx. Michael predeceased Roseann in 2018. She is survived by her sons and their wives, Dominick (Lisa) of Coral Springs, FL, James (Jennifer) of Mahopac and Michael (Cathy) of the Bronx and her 9 beloved grandchildren, Jean-Marie, Sophia-Marie, Lucia, James, Jake, Michael, Matthew, Dominick and Vincent. In addition to her husband Michael, she is predeceased by her sister, Theresa Milo.
Visiting will be held on Thursday, March 27 from 4-8 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 28 at 10 am at St. James the Apostle Church in Carmel, NY. Interment will follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
