Rosella Marie Duplechian

MAMOU, LA – Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, February 10, 2023, at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte for Rosella Marie Duplechian, 75, who passed away on February 9, 2023.
Deacon Church Ortego and Curtis McGee will conduct the service.
Rosella Marie Duplechian was born in Oberlin, La on November 1, 1947, to Adam Ryder and Selena Prejean Ryder. Marie lived in Reddell and was married to Sam Duplechian for 58 years.
Rosella had the distinction of being the first lady school bus driver in Evangeline Parish. She took great pride in safely transporting children to and from school for over 30 years. She also loved cooking and gardening flowers. She also prayed the rosary, faithfully. What Rosella adored most of all was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Rosella is survived by her husband, Sam Duplechian; daughter, Debora Duplechian; her son, Randy Duplechian; grandchildren, Amanda McMurray, Ronald McGee, Steven McGee, Tiffany McGee, Paige Duplechian, and Wyatt Duplechian; 15 great-grandchildren, Dominick, Remington, Karen, Dejuan, Gracelyn, Brianna, Jonathan, Destiny, Ivy, Caroline, Daphne, Tyson, Elizabeth, Raven, and Charlie; her sisters, Vernice Taylor, Lorita Ashford, and Bell Carrier.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Renee Duplechian; parents, Adam Ryder and Celena Prejean Ryder; brothers, Hubert Ryder and Herbert Ryder.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte from 11:00 AM until time of service at 6:00 PM.
