Rosemarie Cuoco

Rosemarie Cuoco, Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend, passed away on March 19, 2025 with her family beside her. She was 95.
She was born Rosemarie Pace on March 9,1930 in Bronx, NY. Fondly known as "Ro" to many of her friends and family, she was an amazing woman who at an early age learned courage and perseverance which she carried with her for her entire life. A woman of many talents, she was an accomplished artist, and enjoyed knitting, gardening and was a plant enthusiast. In addition to raising her four children she also had a 15 year career with General Electric and volunteered her personal time to her parishes and community.
On January 21, 1950, Rosemarie wed Anthony Cuoco who predeceased her in 2023 as they were approaching their 74th anniversary. They loved each other dearly and were inseparable throughout their marriage. They raised their family in the Bronx and Hawthorne, NY before happily retiring to Heritage Hills in Somers and have resided there for the past 36 years.
She continued her love of her family and many hobbies with a zest for life right up until her passing.
Rosemarie truly loved her family through her deep Catholic faith and will always be remembered as a kind hearted, courageous woman with unique determination and positivity. This carried her through all obstacles that life brought her way.
Rosemarie is survived by her loving daughters Susan and Lori (Mario); sons Tony (Susan) and Chris (Patty), 5 grandchildren, Carla, Susan, Matthew, Sam and Lucy, and great granddaughter Ellie. Rosemarie leaves lasting memories to her many nieces, nephews and friends as well.
Visiting hours will be at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac, NY on Sunday March 23rd from 3-7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Joseph's Church in Somers on Monday March 24th at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
