Rosie graduated from Holton High School and attended Highland Community College.
She was a farmwife and homemaker. Rosie owned, along side her husband, Brenner's Corp. She was also a school bus driver for USD 377, Effingham school district.
Rosie was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church.
Rosie married George Raymond Brenner on November 18, 1955 in Atchison, KS. He preceded her in death on April 15, 2010, after over 54 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gene Grannell.
Survivors include her son, Daniel A. Brenner (Marcia) of Holton, KS; daughter, Pamela Rae Hatesohl (Mark) of Manhattan, KS; sister-in-law, Janice Brenner of Osage City, KS; 6 grandchildren; Michelle Elizabeth Ramirez of Corpus Christi, TX, George Fielding Brenner of Olathe, KS, Jessica Rae Hatesohl, Georgia Rose Hatesohl, Kari Lea Roulette of Topeka, KS and Ricky Allen Cruse of Holton, KS; 10 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the Mercer Funeral Home burial will follow at Larkinburg Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Holton Community Hospital c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
