Rosemary "Peg" Method, a beloved member of the Milford community, passed away on December 11, 2023, at Goshen Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on April 17, 1938 to parents, James Losee and Opal Pauline Ringler Losee - both of whom have passed.
Peg was a dedicated and hardworking individual throughout her life. She spent much of her career at Johnson Controls as an Assembler but had the versatility to excel in any role.
Those who knew Peg remember her as strong, devoted to her family, and a wonderful friend. She is also remembered for her generous spirit and as someone who was willing to lend a helping hand to anybody in need. Making friends came naturally to Peg; her loving and caring nature made it easy for people to connect with her.
Peg's strong Christian faith played a significant role in shaping her personality. She embodied the values of kindness and compassion towards others. As a longtime member of the Christian Church of Milford, she actively participated in church activities and remained an integral part of the community.
In addition to work and church, Peg had a passion for flower gardening. Her green thumb allowed her to cultivate beautiful flowers that brought joy to those who saw them. In her leisure time, she enjoyed reading Western fiction novels and watching Westerns on TV. Peg enjoyed working on puzzles, traveling and her adopted stray cats. She loved living on Waubee lake and participating in The Ladies Bible Study at North Webster Church of God.
Peg's proudest accomplishments revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren. She found immense happiness in being a loving wife to Jerry Method of Milford, with whom she shared more than 66 years. She was also mother to three daughters: Julie Frew of Milford, Cathy (David) Stoffel of Syracuse, and Christine "Christy" (Brian) Hinderer of Pierceton; grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 13. She is also survived by two sisters, Jan Bowler and Sharon Kaufman - both of Milford.
In addition to her parents, Peg was preceded in passing by three siblings , Dick Losee, Miriam Benson, and John Losee.
Titus Funeral Home of Syracuse is entrusted with care of Peg and the Method family. Visitors may gather at the Christian Church of Milford, 201 North Henry Street, Milford on Friday, December 15 from 1 to 3 p.m. A Life Celebration Funeral will begin at 3 p.m. Later, Peg will be buried in a private service at Milford Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be given to Smile Train - a lifesaving charity for children who are born with cleft palates. Written condolences may be left for the family at www.TitusFuneralHome.com
