Rosie Demaris "Mary" Stubbs, age 69, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.  She was born in Ludowici on July 13, 1954 and was reared in Alaska.  Mary moved to Glennville 44 years ago before making her home in Claxton 30 years ago.  She was a homemaker that loved to listen to the Classic Country Juke Box, chilling with her family and seeing about her grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Doris Holland McKinney and her brother, Lannie McKinney and the father of her daughters, Anthony Stubbs.

Mary is survived by her husband, Dan Stubbs of Claxton; her father, John McKinney of NC; her children, John (Kristy) Hamilton of NC, Elizabeth (Timothy) Bolen of Rocky Ford, and Tonya (Ben) Bolen of Portal; stepchildren, Jordi Wilds of Claxton, Adam Stubbs, Rachel Stubbs all of Claxton and Tina Stubbs of Brunswick; her siblings, Eddie Holland of Glennville, Brenda (Mack) Gibson, Betty (James) Speagle, Linda (Gary) Brown and David (Ashley) McKinney all of NC; 22 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at noon on Sunday, April 14, 2024 with the funeral services to follow at 2:00pm from the Chapel of The Glennville Funeral Home.
