Obituary of Ross A Anderson
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ross A. Anderson, a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Ross entered into the presence of Jesus on November 18th, 2024 at the age of 51. Ross was a man of strong faith in the Lord who spent time daily in prayer, Bible reading, and reflection.
Ross grew up in Brooklyn Park, MN and attended college at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He grew up playing hockey, and his love for the game continued into adulthood.
Ross was a kind, smart and fun loving guy with a witty sense of humor. He enjoyed growing up hunting with his dad, brother, uncles and cousins and cherished that time with them, often telling stories and reminiscing of those days. He also loved fishing with his dad and treasured those times on the lake. Ross married Melissa in 2003 and they had two kids, Alaina and Nolan. They divorced years later. Ross was most proud of being a dad, he loved spending time with his kids, and it was by far his favorite role in life.
Ross is preceded in death by his mom Sharon Anderson (Falk), and will be dearly missed by his two children Alaina and Nolan, his father Pete Anderson, sister Colette Johnson (Dan), brother Grant Anderson (Marsha) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.
A Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 29th at the Mississippi Crossing Event Center 307 East River Parkway Champlin, MN 55316. Visitation at 12:30pm with Celebration of Life Remembrance Service at 1:00. Luncheon to follow
Please think of a story about Ross to share, there will be time for sharing them during the luncheon should you so choose.

I knew Ross in college at UW-Madison, what a gentle and kind,
caring young man back then! And it sounds like his god filled path continued. I am sorry for your loss of him, for his kids, for his parents and siblings, all of you who loved him! i hope you find some healing in his stories and memories.

We had the privilege to know Ross the last year and a half of his life. We rented a unit that Ross lived in. He was such a kind man who was always very respectful. In fact, one of our best tenants! In the short amount of time that we knew him, it was very clear he loved his children and cared deeply about them.
My husband had several talks with him about the Lord and it was also clear he had a personal relationship with Jesus. We hope his family is able to feel the Lords presence and we pray they find comfort in knowing he is home with the Lord.

2 of my greatest sports moments ever were with Ross. First and foremost, as many of you know, we were die hard Goober hockey fans. Well we were at Ross´s house watching the 2002 hockey team in his basement , when in OT the Gophers won and I jumped so high off of the couch that I broke through his ceiling tiles!! I will never forget that moment. We were jumping up and down, it was so crazy fun!! It is the same feeling as most everyone would feel if the Vikings won the Super Bowl now. The 2nd one is when we were golfing at Tianna golf course in Walker. We were at Pat´s cabins and we went golfing for the day. We were on the 11th hole and Ross hit a hole-in-one!! It might be the only and last hole-in-one i ever see.
