Rowan Stanley Adkins, the happiest boy, was born on March 12, 2025, in Owensboro. He brought immense joy to his family and loved ones during his brief time on this earth, shining his light until his passing on October 24, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
Rowan's joyful spirit was evident from a tender age. He cherished the moments spent with his big brother, Oliver, often enjoying the simple pleasure of laughing at him. His love extended to his parents, where he found comfort and happiness while lying on his daddy's chest or being lovingly held by his mother. These moments encapsulated the warmth and affection that surrounded his life, filling the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him.
Rowan was just beginning to explore the world around him, poised to embark on the adventure of crawling, which he was eagerly anticipating. He delighted in the innocent joys of rolling and kicking around, showcasing his boundless energy and spirit.
Though his time was short, the impact of Rowan Stanley Adkins will forever be felt by his family. He is remembered for his infectious laughter and the joy he brought to every moment.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Leva Jarosz.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving parents, Alberta and Marcus Adkins; his big brother, Oliver Adkins; grandparents, Loretta and Dave Alexander, and Joe Jarosz; aunts, Amanda Adkins and Megan Bartlett; uncles, Joe Adkins (Megan) and Adam Goatley; and cousins, Lydia, Joey, Lilyen, Aleya, Adalyn, Angel and Hunter.
The funeral service will be 4 PM Thursday, October 30, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 12 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
