Roy Aaron Kizer, 77, passed away on Saturday, July 26th, 2025, in Granbury. He was born February 28th, 1948, in Monahans, Texas to Fred and Bobbie Jean Kizer.

Roy was a graduate of Snyder High School where he played baseball and football. After high school, he attended Texas State University where he played baseball, was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and most importantly is where he met his wife Linda. He graduated with a degree in Biology. Roy retired after 40+ years of being in sales in the oilfield, chemical and construction industry. Roy and Linda resided for many years in Houston and Midland before settling in Granbury. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Granbury. Roy loved playing golf all over the world with his friends and family. He was an avid reader and especially enjoyed United States and World History. He also loved traveling, whether it was to Seattle with Linda for a cup of coffee or going to a TCU football game with his son Dana. Roy was a devout Christian and very loving husband, father and grandfather (aka Dicey) who was loved dearly and will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, Ray Kizer.

Roy is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Nell Kizer; his son Dana Ryan Kizer and wife Jamie; his twin granddaughters Caroline Kizer and Claire Kizer; niece Amy Pesek; nephew Aaron Kizer and numerous other extended family members.
