Roy Lee Mark, 79 passed away October 6, 2024 at St Francis Hospital in Wichita with his loving family by his side. He was born September 10, 1945 in Lawrence, Kansas the son of Albert and Helen (Hyson) Mark. On September 2, 1984 he was united in marriage to Cathi in Las Vegas, Nevada. Roy and Cathi spent most of their married life living in Oklahoma. After Cathi's passing in 2017, Roy and his dog went to live with his daughter Tammy and her husband Justin in Hope where he remained until his passing. Roy worked for Mid Central Sysco. He enjoyed playing golf, poker, spending time with his family, a good country western and watching sports with his son-in-law Justin. He is survived by his two daughters, Tammy Campbell (Justin) of Hope and Angela Tilton (Joe) of Gardner, Kansas. One son, Tim Mark and wife Kathy of Overland Park, Kansas. Grandchildren: Kaylena Nash; Melissa Yates; Spencer Tilton; Tristen Tilton; Shamina Branch (Stepphon); Lyricsen and Zamir and one great-grandduahgter, Olivia Nash and six nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Cathi Mark; siblings, Robert Mark, Marsha Louise Mark, Evelyne Grammer and Jeff Shores. Funeral Services for Roy will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Danner Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Norman officiating. Burial will follow at the Abilene City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Memorials may be dropped off or mailed to Danner Funeral Home, 501 N. Buckeye, Abilene, Kansas 67410.
