Judy Ann Bauman

Judith Ann (Judy) Bauman passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025 at her home south of Abilene. She was born June 24, 1943 in Hope, Kansas the daughter of John and Ida Mae (Roehrman) Stroda.
Judy graduated from Hope High School and was a loving farm wife and also helped with Bauman Carpet in Abilene before retiring.
Judy was a member of the St. Andrew's Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
On April 8, 1961 Judy was united in marriage to Joh Bauman in Hope, Kansas. He survives of the home. She is also survived by her daughter Darcy Bauman of Blue Rapids, Kansas, sons Kevin Bauman and his wife Kay of Eudora, Kansas, Jeff Bauman and his wife Jane of Junction City, Kansas, sister Donna Brown of Wichita, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Jackie Klenda.
The family has selected cremation and private services will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dickinson County and may be sent in care of the Danner Funeral Home, 501 N. Buckeye, Abilene, Kansas 67410 or to Jon Bauman, 1386 Highway 15, Abilene, Kansas 67410.
